Orchard Hideout Reflection
Throughout this unit, I felt very challenged. It was difficult for me to understand the topics that we learned. I still don’t feel very confident about doing problems on my own. One thing that I don't know how to do very well is inverse trigonometry. I don’t know when to use it and I’m not clear on how it’s any different from regular trigonometry. Despite that, this unit was very interesting to me because it was given in a real world situation. Usually when problems are set up this way, I engage with them more. I understood that algebra is used a lot in geometry. For example, we used triangles and studied their points, lines, surfaces, and volumes. We would use algebra to find out come up with answers. Overall, I wasn’t able to fully understand everything but this unit was interesting and I am satisfied with my answer for the unit problem.
